TBH and The Ohio State University at Lima have teamed up to offer area residents a smoking cessation program.
The treatment program and research study is seven weeks long and will examine the effectiveness of a cognitive-behavorial-hypnosis program on smoking. Participants will receive a free six-week supply of nicotine patches.
Classes will be held on Sundays, including: October 8, 15 and 22, from 3:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. in Burson Conference Rooms at The Bellevue Hospital. Two support sessions are scheduled for Sundays, November 5 and 19, from 3:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. The final session will be held at a later date. Participants must attend all seven sessions.
