On May 16, 2018 members of The Bellevue Hospital (TBH) visited Bellevue High School to announce winners of the hospital's Centennial Art Contest.
In March, participating art students from Bellevue High School were asked to create and submit a piece of art that represented a "Caring For Our Community" theme to help the hospital celebrate its 100th Anniversary. The artwork was placed on display in the hospital's 2nd floor atrium. TBH employees, volunteers and visitors voted for their top choices throughout the month of March.
Bellevue High School had 13 students participate in the contest. Over two hundred votes were received for the artwork.
As a THANK YOU to the students and Bellevue High School, all contest participants were given a certificate of participation, and a gift certificate for East of Chicago Pizza. The overall winner in the contest received a gift card to Target.
