The Bellevue Hospital (TBH) is excited to launch its popular Mature Audience Luncheon in a new location in Clyde, Ohio starting in March.
The hospital’s Mature Audience Luncheon has been a monthly service offered to the community for over 30 years. The program, for individuals age 55 and older, was designed to help senior citizens pursue an active lifestyle, learn about health and wellness and meet others.
“TBH is committed to helping local residents take control of their own health and is constantly working to increase outreach efforts in the surrounding communities,” said Mandi Artino, Leader of Wellness and Community Services at TBH.
“In conjunction with the monthly luncheons we will still host in Bellevue, we saw an opportunity to bring this service to the Clyde community as well. For the 2020 year, the hospital will host a Mature Audience Luncheon in Clyde quarterly. Our goal is for this event to be an educational resource. We want participants to not only to learn about new programs and services offered at the hospital, but to learn about services and non-profit organizations throughout the four-county area,” continued Artino.
The luncheons are one of TBH’s most well attended outreach programs. The event offers a fun hour of fellowship, education, health screenings, door prizes and a hot meal.
The Clyde luncheons will be held from 11:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church located at 510 W. Maple Street. A lunch fee of $3.00 will be collected at the door. Dates for the 2020 luncheons include:
- March 10
- June 9
- September 8
- December 8
The topic for Clyde’s March luncheon will be “Pain Management for Arthritis,” presented by Vimal Kumar, M.D. Dr. Kumar is a member of TBH’s medical staff and is board certified in Pain Management.
