Bellevue’s Chamber of Commerce held their Annual Meeting and Awards Banquet on Thursday, May 3 at the Bellevue Society for the Arts.
Michael K. Winthrop, President & CEO of The Bellevue Hospital was honored to receive The Founder’s Award, the Chamber’s highest recognition, given to an individual for a “lifetime” of contributions to the community.
The Founder’s Award began in 2001, and since inception has only been given to five individuals including Winthrop. Other award winners include:
Fred Edwards (2001); William Ruffing (2010); Joyce Hayward (2011); and Charles Sabo (2017).
