The Bellevue Hospital Foundation kicked off the winter “Is Your Heart Set on a Vette?” Corvette Raffle on Sept. 1, 2023. The raffle, held in cooperation with Steinle Chevrolet-Buick in Clyde, features a grand prize of $100,000 cash OR a new Chevrolet Stingray Corvette plus $40,000. The grand prize drawing will be held on Feb. 14, 2024 at the Clyde Steinle location on U.S. 20 West.
Seven years ago, the hospital honored the year they opened their doors and sold 1,917 tickets. This year the hospital is honoring the present day and will sell 2,024 tickets at $100 each.
The second Early Bird drawing of the winter 2024 Corvette Raffle was held on Thursday, Dec. 14, and Jill Colizoli of Bexley, Ohio was the winner of $750 with ticket number 1141.
Colizoli is the third winner that has been announced so far in the raffle. The first Early Bird winner was announced on Tuesday, Nov. 14, and Manny Mendoza of Fremont was the winner of $1,000. A "Loyalty Club" drawing was held on Monday, Oct. 2, and Brad Feuston of Shipshewana, Indiana was the Loyalty Club winner of $1,917. The Loyalty Club drawing was for previous ticket holders who purchased a ticket for the current raffle during the month of September. Video of the drawing may be seen below.
One other Early Bird drawing is set for Jan. 15 ($500). The first ticket drawn in the raffle on Feb. 14, 2024 will be for the Grand Prize. Four other cash drawings include $2,024 for second place, $1,917 for third place, $1,500 for fourth place, and $1,000 for fifth place.
As of December 14, 160 tickets remain of the 2,024 tickets to be sold for the raffle.
