The Bellevue Hospital (TBH) is pleased to announce the addition of Steven Copeland, M.D., to its active medical staff.
Dr. Copeland is board certified in orthopaedic surgery and specializes in sports medicine and arthroscopic surgery for ACL reconstruction, meniscal repairs, shoulder and rotator cuff repairs, minimally invasive carpal tunnel treatment and fracture care.
“Dr. Copeland is committed to giving individualized care with the goal of easing pain and restoring function for his patients,” said Timothy A. Buit, TBH’s president and chief executive officer. “We are excited to welcome Dr. Copeland to our hospital family.”
Dr. Copeland is originally from Findlay, OH. He received his medical degree from the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine in Chicago, IL. He then served his orthopaedic residency at the University of Chicago Hospitals. Afterward, he underwent advanced training at Baylor Sports Medicine Institute in Houston, TX. This sports medicine and arthroscopic surgery training focused on sports-related injuries. While there, he served as an assistant physician for the Houston Texans, Houston Astros and the University of Houston Cougars.
